Hydration Therapy - A new approach

Over the years, skin may dry out as its natural levels of hyaluronic acid (HA) diminish due to age, smoking, sun exposure, and environmental factors. This is most noticeable in areas that are exposed to the elements, such as the face, neck, décolletage, and hands. Skin hydration is fundamental to a fresh appearance, but the lack of it leads to a tired, dull skin and subsequently to premature ageing. The main problem is that skin hydration creams or serums can only temporarily moisturize the skin at the surface but they can’t deliver the deep hydration that your skin really needs. However, we are aware that beauty product advertisings promise you otherwise.

The most effective way to rehydrate your skin is by injecting HA into your skin or more precisely underneath. Studies have also shown that HA will activate fibroblast cells to produce collagen and elastin, which are the two main components of your skin and connective tissue.

We recommend the use of micro canulas instead of sharp needles to replenish depleted levels of HA. This soft approach minimises undesired effects such as, bruising and swelling. Furthermore, there is almost no pain and no downtime.

Visible improvements to the skin can be seen after an initial course of treatments, that usually consists of 3 treatments, each approximately 4 weeks apart. A follow up treatment after 9 to 12 months is recommended. Through this long-term approach you can have results that last. This innovative method will boost the skin resulting in healthy skin with a nice glow. Although hands and décolltée can be treated, best results are achieved in the midface and lower face areas.
